Grant Awarded for Homeless Prevention and Youth Programming
The Baldwin Center was awarded a $350,000 grant from the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust to support Baldwin’s homeless prevention and youth programs. This 24 month grant will allow Baldwin to provide cash assistance for eviction and utility shutoff notices and the case management services necessary to help families regain financial independence. Additionally, the grant will help support the high-quality, out-of -school time youth programming that Baldwin provides.
