Baldwin to Host Financial Aid Seminar
The Baldwin Center of Pontiac will host an information session Tuesday, April 30 to help guide students and their parents through the sometimes complicated application process for college financial aid. Attendees will learn about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), a U.S. Department of Education program that provides grants, loans, and work-study funds for college.
Middle and high school students are invited to find out what they should know and do before and after filling out the FAFSA. Information for getting additional help with the FAFSA and finding other possible funding resources will also be provided. It is not too late for graduating seniors to learn this information and apply.
This FAFSA workshop will be held Tuesday, April 30 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Baldwin Center, 212 Baldwin Avenue, Pontiac. The Center’s computer lab will be available after the workshop for participants to begin their FAFSA applications. Please call 248.332.6101 to reserve seating. The flyer can be seen here.
