Baldwin Center Welcomes Plum to Staff

Alex Plum appointed new community affairs coordinator

Alex Plum  has recently joined the Baldwin Center staff as its community affairs coordinator.   Alex will be working to develop and sustain relationships with volunteers, donors, and other community partners.

Plum most recently spent the past three years in Micronesia as a Peace Corp volunteer.  He worked in a local schools while on the island.  He is a graduate of the James Madison program at Michigan State University and has a wide variety of experiences working in community based organizations.

According to Baldwin’s executive director, Lisa Machesky, “we are very excited to have Alex aboard, he brings enthusiasm,  passion for our mission and strong organizational abilities.”

In his spare time Alex referees for Big Ten soccer and is active in the Detroit Conference United Methodist Church’s young adult ministries.  Welcome Alex!
