Tell Your Story
Now that you know a little bit about our story, what’s yours? We are interested in forming a relationship with you, and in turn, helping you create lasting, meaningful relationships with the children, women, and men who come to Baldwin to have their needs met. To do that effectively, we desire to understand your motivation to be in service to the Pontiac community.
This morning I spoke with a woman who originally came here to fulfill a court-ordered community service requirement. She has stayed on because volunteering at Baldwin “has changed my life and made me a better person.” These are the kinds of stories we hear everyday – from the people eating lunch at the soup kitchen, to the teenage mom stopping by for diapers and baby formula, to the corporate executive dropping in on his lunch hour to hang pants and jackets in our Clothes Closet facility. Baldwin Center has been many things to many people. What’s it going to be for you?
