Birmingham Public School employees honored Dr. King’s legacy by sorting food and clothes at the Baldwin Center in Pontiac. In addition to other staff development employees gave back to the community on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Staff from Derby Middle School came in the morning and sorted food and created shelving for the soup kitchen while others in the group sorted new and used clothing. Pembroke Elementary finished up the projects when they came in the afternoon.
