Grant Awarded for Homeless Prevention and Youth Programming

The Baldwin Center was awarded a $350,000 grant from the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust to support Baldwin’s homeless prevention and youth programs.  This 24 month grant will allow  Baldwin to provide cash assistance for eviction and utility shutoff notices and the case management services necessary to help families regain financial independence.  [...]

Baldwin hosts its first immigration clinic

Today was the first immigration legal clinic at Baldwin. This monthly clinic sponsored by Justice for our Neighbors- Southeast Michigan (JFON-SEMI) will help immigrants work through legal issues regarding their immigration stays.
